A stairclimber that operates like a tank

On two non-marking tracks, the Stair Robot, also known as SR1750, operates like a tank.

In addition to its massive 1000 kg capacity, it uses AC electricity with automatic 'load leveling' to keep the cargo upright and over the centre of gravity of the machine. Cargo can be traversed from vertical to horizontal on the main platform, ready to be moved up stairs. Its remote 'joystick' controls make operation intuitive and keep the operator separate from the cargo.

During a stair climb, the hydraulic leveling platform on the Stair Robot stair crawler allows the load to remain on the horizontal plane.

The tracks are driven by powerful motors powered by 220 or 110 volts, which operate via a reduction gearbox to ensure the operation is safe and controlled, even during power outages.

A 24 volt, 4-button switch box controls the Stair Robot stairclimber remotely. By using simple and intuitive controls, the operator can keep a safe distance and keep a watchful eye on the task at hand.
