Comfortably overcome daily obstacles in your own wheelchair

We developed the s-max to keep up with the times by innovating technology born of original and creative ideas. The safety concept of the S-Max is well thought-out and includes brakes that stop automatically at the edge of each step. This intelligent technology makes for a particularly safe and effortless climbing process. An engine immobiliser prevents unauthorized use thus adding extra safety.

Individually adjustable climbing speed is included to adapt to various climbing situations. The single-step mode can be turned off if needed. Due to its compact measurements, the s-max is quickly and easily mounted, it is also suitable for particularly narrow wheelchairs – minimum seat width is 24 cm.

The control unit and the grips are designed considering the latest ergonomic findings for more safety and comfort.

ComfortStep

Pleasant driving characteristics combined with a comfortable climbing experience

ComfortStep has been developed for the stair climber series s-max and c-max and it completely revolutionizes the previously existing climbing kinematics of these stair climbers. For the person being transported, this is particularly noticeable because of a comfortable climbing process made possible by low vibrations that ComfortStep provides. It works in the single-step mode as well as in the regular climbing mode. A further function provided by ComfortStep is the adaptation to a variety of step heights. This makes an easy and individual adaptation to your particular stairs possible.
