PS Adapt attaches to your adapted wheelchair

If you have a scripted wheelchair that is not able to be used with the PS Universal or PS Track, but is able to be modified, the PS Adapt could be the stairclimber for you.
By rolling the PS Adapt under your modified wheelchair and engaging the locking plates, you are able to essentially carry the PS Adapt around with your wheelchair so it can stairclimb any time, whilst still being able to operate your wheelchair as normal.

To stairclimb, just raise the wheelchair by using the PS Adapt lifting function, which will raise the wheels of the wheelchair off the ground. The wheels are then removed from the wheelchair and re-positioned ready for the climb. For this reason, the wheels of your wheelchair do need to be detachable.

The PS Adapt can be used to move up or down any kind of stairs, as with our other models. Once you have reached your destination, just reattach the wheels to your wheelchair to operate it as normal. Your PS Adapt lifting unit remains attached to the wheelchair, ready for further stair climbing.

In addition to the PS Adapt stairclimber, we also offer wheelchair users the PS Adapt (Plus). This includes a lightweight, modern, pre-adapted wheelchair.
PS Adapt (Plus) is designed for people who do not have a wheelchair, or who do not require a scripted wheelchair, but want to be able to use their wheelchair with or without a stairclimbing unit.

Just like our other models, the PS Adapt and PS Adapt (Plus) fit neatly into the boot of your car. These innovative devices navigate smoothly and softly without leaving marks or scratches on floor and stair surfaces.
