Baby Evacuation Device for Hospitals and Childcare Facilities

The Evacu B Baby Evacuation Device is an innovative apparatus that can easily, quickly, and safely transport up to six babies at once in an evacuation. The only device of its kind, it includes six mildew- and fire-retardant pockets with tear-away walls and securing cross-straps. It only needs one nurse to operate.

In contrast to other baby evacuation devices currently on the market, the Evacu B latches firmly to stairs with a purpose-built track system that allows for smooth movement downstairs. The apparatus also keeps the babies safe and secure once they are outside. The Evacu B also includes an automatic braking system which is functional even when fully-loaded and/or on stairs, allowing the operator to stop for any reason when needed.

The Evacu B is simple to use at a moment's notice, and also features an O2 cylinder cradle where an optional six-way oxygen supply manifold can be attached and fed through to each pocket in the event of low air quality. Front castors ensure easy movement on stair landings, and medical-grade, hypoallergenic headrests safeguard the babies from irritants whilst maintaining their comfort. The Evacu B is easily stored and kept clean on its wall-mount and with its dust cover. The device also includes drainage holes in each pocket to assist with simple cleaning.
